Why I started this.
I'm Nicole, and I live in Austin with my family. I have friends I love. But a few families nearby, with kids the same age, who we actually see on a regular basis? That's a different thing, and it's harder to come by than it should be. People move, travel, have neverending colds, and the weeks fill up fast.
So I'm trying something different, and trying to help a bunch of other families in the process. I make the introductions myself, a real person reading every application and thinking about who belongs together. Each circle is yours to keep, I just set the table.
Here's what I picture down the line: family pods all over Austin that actually stick, and regular gatherings where they come together. A real community of families who found each other through this.
How it works
You apply
A few questions about where you are, your kids, and the kind of families you're hoping to find. It takes a couple of minutes.
I match a small circle
Four to six nearby families with similar-age kids and rhythms that fit. Close enough that seeing each other is easy.
We start with one easy gathering
Lightly structured so nobody has to awkwardly figure out how to begin.
A simple first month
Picture four easy weekend family adventures and four midweek hangs your circle can opt into. Low-lift on purpose, and enough time together to form real friendships.
Then it's yours
Good circles keep going on their own. I make the introductions, the rest is yours.
What it costs
It's $100 for the curation and your circle's first month. That covers the matching, getting your group together, and a lightly structured first gathering so nobody has to figure out how to begin. The outings themselves are free or at cost, you just cover your family's share. You're paying for the matching and the month that gets a real friendship started, not for events.
